"I plan to give you love, nurturing, and just enough dysfunction to make you funny."

"Whatever course you decide upon, there is always someone to tell you that you are wrong. There are always difficulties arising which tempt you to believe that your critics are right. To map out a course of action and follow it to an end requires courage."-- Ralph Waldo Emerson

No Turning Back Now...

Last week/weekend update:

One thing not to say to a bride 6 days before her Wedding: "The ends of your hair turned red!" My sister and I went to get our hair highlighted on Saturday, and for those of you who haven't seen me lately, my hair has been brown. I decided to add blonde highlights back into it. Well, apparently my hair did not like this, so when the stylist checked my hair, she told me that the ends had turned a bright red! I then had to sit there and get more bleach applied to my hair- 4 hours later, my hair looks great. (Whitney's does too!)

Saturday night I had a bachelorette dinner at the Melting Pot. It was a really nice to sit back, relax, and eat a ton of great food with great friends and family.

Mike had also informed me last week how nervous he was, not about the ceremony, just the aftermath, as he called it. He loves me and wants to marry me, but apparently he sees marriage as the end of his 31 year childhood. He believes after we say "I Do" that his life will be over. I reassured him that this feeling he is having is just him growing up. I new it would have happened sooner or later!

I have turned in my final count to Hillcrest, and I will see you all on Friday night!
