I bet you didn't know this...

I recently did a list on facebook, "25 random things about me". At first I thought it would be hard to think of 25 things to write, but once I got started it was easy. When I finished I thought of more things, so here are 25 random things about me:


1. I was born in Florida, but also lived in West Virginia when I was little- I attended kindergarten in West Virginia
2. I met Mike when I was 16 and he was 21, and I ended up dating someone else for 3 years, but remained friends with Mike. We then dated for 5.5 years before we got married
3. I never finished college, but wish I would have
4. I was a cheerleader 7-12 grade- excluding 11th grade, I needed a break!
5. I played softball for 2 years- left field - but I prayed the ball was not hit to me. (I was terrible & really don’t know why I even played)
6. I want to move out of South Florida someday
7. I have my Real Estate license, but unfortunately have had no luck with it. As soon as I passed my state exam 4 years ago, the market crashed!
8. I grew up having big family dinners at my Grandparents house & I wish we still had them
9. I LOVE Christmas time, especially now that my nephew is here
10. I can’t wait to be a mom, but worry for Mike & my family the 9 months I am pregnant (hormones!)
11. I love to cook & bake- especially bake
12. I have always wanted to write for a newspaper- but never pursued it
13. I love to go shopping- it doesn't matter what for, I just love spending money
14. I hate the way a dry paper towel feels- It has to be damp for me to wipe my hands off
15. I have always wanted an apartment in NYC
16. I easily cry when I see sad stuff on TV or movies, but not when something personally happens to me
17. I have seen every episode of 90210 a thousand times, and still watch it almost every day
18. I love the movie Dirty Dancing- I could watch it over & over
19. I would like to visit Italy someday- maybe even live there!!
20. I have a great memory, especially of things that happened when I was younger- I remember stuff my parents had forgotten
21. I grew up hearing from my sister that I was adopted. She told me this because there are only a handful of pictures of me under the age of 3- this apparently is when I was adopted!
22. I never got along with my sister until we became adults, and now we are best friends
23. I do not trust people very easily
24. I am great at keeping secrets
25. My first car was a 1976 Nova from my parents. It had no A/C, rusted floor boards, and I had to pump the gas petal before I started the car. I drove this car for a year until my Dad traded it for a jukebox!
