5 Months Old

Weight: 14lbs 5oz
Height: 25 3/4"

I really don't know how we got to 5 months old already. I feel like the last 5 months have been a blur. It goes by so quickly, and Mason is changing every day- literally, every day! Yesterday he decided that he is now a 100% roller. He had rolled a few times here & there in the past, but I think they were on accident. Last night I was playing with him on the floor, and he kept rolling onto his stomach then onto his back! Also, he slept on his stomach for most of the night last night. It was a long night, though. He isn't a huge fan of "tummy time", so he would sleep on his stomach for a while, then roll back over, but he would fling himself so hard onto his back that he would wake up! Hopefully after a few nights, he will figure it out!

Mason is still not sleeping through the night! All of you Mom's out there who's kids do sleep through the night- please don't tell me about it! He is getting better, so on a "good" night, he wakes up 1 time. Also, Mason is not quite used to a lot of noise when he sleeps, so this pretty much sums up how I feel once he is asleep:

Even after 5 months, I really feel like I don't have enough time in the day. Working full time, and taking care of Mason, I really have no time for anything else. It is definitely still a work in progress to balance everything!

There are a couple new pictures in his 4 month album, and 5 month album. (click his picture on top left side of blog)

Coming soon: Mason's new winter "hat"...

You're right - this has been the fastest 5mo in history! And he does change every day. Usually you don't notice it when you're around someone all the time but with Mason you do. He learns things very quickly and I'm betting he walks before even Logan did. If for no other reason than so he can get to Jax and Logan! He loves both his cousins and wants to play with them soooooo badly! He follows their every move and if he is on the floor he flips to his belly and tries to crawl to them. Yesterday he almost did a somersault trying to get to Logan when he saw him! It was hilarious! Our baby is growing up too fast. The only thing that hasn't changed is his beautiful smile! Mommaw and Poppaw love you little man!

Kailyn now has decided she will wake up 3 times a night instead of her usual one. Everyone is right when they say don't get too used to a schedule, cause it can change at ANY moment.
One more month and Mason will have his half year B-day!! ;-)
Don't they just grow up TOO fast?? Feels like not so long ago we were talking fertility treatment, then shower plans, and soon 1st B-day party plans!! :*(
